Friends of James Weldon Johnson Park is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to revitalizing Jacksonville’s oldest public park into a vibrant, modern, accessible space that engages diverse communities, presents high-quality daily programming, a family-friendly environment, and supports community-driven partnerships. Donor support is a vital source of support that makes it possible for us to add and upgrade amenities, offer free programs to the public, host great events and keeping the park safe and clean. A strong emotional connection is made when a company “co-brands” itself with a community event. The emotional connection that the people of Jacksonville have with Park cannot be replicated through traditional advertising alone. Events at JWJ Park will continue to establish downtown Jacksonville as a vibrant community and destination point for years to come, and an atmosphere that provides for future economic development. As a nonprofit organization, we partner with a variety of vendors when planning and executing daily, weekly and special events in the park. If you would like to be considered as a vendor, please email our Events & Operations Manager, Terrance Johnson.
