With three stages, a shaded kid’s zone and multiple event areas, the park is perfect for everything from small community gatherings and private events and weddings, to large-scale concerts and festivals designed to accommodate thousands.
Event permits are granted on a first-come, first-served basis. For large-scale events with more than 500 attendees, it is suggested that proposals are submitted three to six months prior to your preferred event date(s). Proposals for smaller events may be considered with one to two months of lead time. Complete proposals will be reviewed as soon as possible. Estimated fees cannot be given until a complete proposal has been submitted and reviewed by Friends of James Weldon Johnson Park.
