James Weldon Johnson Birthday Celebration

Join us on Saturday, June 15th from 9am to 1pm to celebrate James Weldon Johnson’s Birthday with a JWJ Park Beautification Day!

Let’s roll up our sleeves, grab our gardening gloves, and transform this green oasis into an even more enchanting space for everyone to enjoy.

We’ll be planting, cleaning up, and beautifying our beloved JWJ Park while we vibe out to music

and listen to inspiring poetry (to keep us motivated). We’ll also have food trucks on site to satisfy our cravings with delicious bites to keep us fueled while we work.
